Swingthing

Swingthing - are a 4/5 piece band based near Carlisle who mainly specialise
in providing a brand of quality music to local, and not so local venues.

Swingthing also able to provide music for other situations for example, weddings, celebrations, parties, corporate functions.
It is possible to hire the band in a number of formats from trio to five or even six piece if required, and subject to availability of musicians.

Vocals............Ronnie Walker - excellent vocalist in the mould of Frank Sinatra
Keys ...............Brian Melville - professional educator and musician
with 30 years experience of playing in many venues in the UK and abroad.
Drums............ Dave Thompson - very experienced having completed several stints as a professional in the UK and abroad.
Bass............... Paul Williamson bass player with the up and coming blues band South Quay.
Saxophones (by request) ...Jonathan Melville - outstanding and talented young musician currently working in Leeds.
